Dr. Todd Dickerson is an inventor, international researcher and lecturer, author, and orthodontist. With more than 30 years of experience in the field of facial development, Dr. Dickerson is an expert in safe accelerated tooth movement and midface development. He holds multiple patents in the healthcare field which provide products for doctors and patients to improve their lives in a safe, efficient manner. By helping facial growth and airways develop properly, patients of Dickerson Orthodontics are 90% less likely to require cuspid exposure surgery than a typical orthodontic practice. Realizing there is a link between tethered tissue, such as tongue and lip ties, with facial and airway development in many of these patients, it became obvious that more qualitative research was needed to better understand the correlation.
